PARTY TIME

Welcome to Linn’s Public Party Announcement post! It’s like a public service announcement for partygoers. I can’t believe I have to do this, but some of you lads (why is it always the men?!) are really going out of your way to try my patience. The week leading up to a party is very busy, and I do have a normal day job too, so I would appreciate it if you didn’t call, text and email incessantly for information you could easily find out for yourself.

As an adult, going to a party is very simple. Really. All you need to do is to:

A) GET YOUR NAME ON THE LIST! There are four ways you can do this;

1. 1. 1. E-mail us privately,
      2. Leave a comment on the party post in the group Discord
      3. Slide into my DMs, or, if you’re a lady,
      4. Join the Ladies Room and we’ll look after you before, during and after the evening.

NB! Putting your name down does not guarantee you a place at the party! You are only in when I have confirmed that you are in. (Heh, that sounded just like talking to an ex of mine…) If I haven’t sent you an official invite, you are not on the list. Check your spam filter too – if it’s not there and not in your invite it’s because I didn’t send one.

B) GET THERE! The venues vary from party to party, but the exact name and location, including full address and post codes for sat navs, the nearest stations, cab offices etc are always clearly stated with maps and all in your welcome e-mail.

Now, seriously…

If you can’t think of a way to figure out where it is, or how to get there, with all that information at hand, maybe you shouldn’t be out on your own in a big city like London at all!

Please, do not pester me or my girls or my kids (ffs!) for information you can easily find yourself. There is a very good search engine that begins with a G and a double O that can be used to find information too. Each venue has their own website, Transport for London has an excellent route planner and public transport is available 24hrs a day, so getting to and from the venue is not a problem. You can also let people in the group know you’d like a ride or if you have space for one more in your car.

C) GET INSIDE! Once you have reached the doors of the venue, you need to produce two forms of ID, one of which has to be a photo ID. Then you are just a bargain £20 away from all the fun. Unless you’re a lady or a couple and get in for free.

Please note, if you’re finding it hard to enter on your own, let me know in advance or call the party hotline when you’re outside and I’ll come and get you and hold your hand until you’ve found your party feet. 

D) GET PARTYING! Having managed to overcome the first three obstacles, this is when the real challenge begins. How much fun you will have depends on you!

Our parties are social events and there is no pressure on anyone to play. And I’m sorry, but I just have to say this:

If you are the kind of person who normally finds it hard to get laid, this party is probably not the place for you! No one is going to shag you as a reward for showing up.

If you are of a sociable nature, and enjoy a chat, a laugh, a drink, and a dance you are likely to have fun with us.

And if, on top of that, you have passed your GCSEs in flirting, you may even end up getting someone’s phone number. Or a fuck.

Just remember, no one owes you sex. It is neither a product we peddle, nor the currency we use. We do book our parties in venues where there are rooms you can enter to attend or initiate all sorts of fun, but the main area is no different than any other night club.
