Does anybody ever meet up on this site? I’m not having much luck here… – W

Ohh, look! Yet another minimum input bloke complaining about reaping exactly what he’s sown… Well, I guess today is your lucky day, W. I’m feeling generous enough to do this once again.

The short answer is yes.

Some of us do meet up both individually and as a group at our socials. I would say that this goes to prove that it works.

But then again, “meeting up” does not guarantee that the participants want to move on to more physical activities. And that is important to remember. The fact that this is a sex positive playground does not mean that all of us are positively chomping at the bit for a chance to get shagging. It doesn’t work like that, and consent is just as important here as anywhere else.

Personally, I believe that hunting online – whether for people or objects – helps us cast a wider net. It makes it possible to find, and meet, people we would never have come across had we just spent our time in our local pub hoping to get lucky.

To get to a stage where people actually want to meet you, I think your best shot is to be very honest about what you are looking for and what you have to offer. Contrary to what most “alpha males” will tell you, this is very much a ladies’ market. It’s not enough to have a dick and an attitude – you have to bring something to the table. And you have to make sure that you target the right group of people.

Most of all, you have to make an effort. This is a peacock’s paradise. Strut your stuff (no, that does not mean dick pics) and reach out to people. Talk to them. Find out what makes them tick. Tell them something about you. Show them who you are and what you like in and out of the bedroom. Marketing is, after all, the art of creating an interest in what you have to offer. And finding a date is all about marketing.
